July maximum temperatures were above average by up to 10°F for the first and last weeks of the month. A new record high of 103°F was set on the 24th; this is 1° greater than 1928 record. Although minimum temperatures started out below normal, they rose to above normal mid-month. The average high temperature and the average low temperature were four degrees and half a degree above normal, respectively. No new low records were set this month.
