Weather Summary for Corvallis, Oregon

June, 2003


June's high temperatures started out being above normal. Then they cooled off for the middle of the month, and ended warmer than usual. No record high temperatures occured thus month. The low temperature trend this month was not much different. They were slightly above normal for the month. No record low temperatures occured in June. The highest high temperature was 96° on the 29th and the lowest high temperature was 63° on the 24th. This came out to a 36° range of high temperatures this month.

We received only 0.36 inches of precipitation, nearly an inch below normal. This is the second month since February that we have received below normal rainfall. There were no record setting days of rainfall this month. Even with the shortage of precipitation, we are still well above normal from where we should be this time of year. The 2002-2003 water year will have no shortage of rain when the end of the 12 month period comes around.
